Default Quest Log

So with the release of Nightfall came a large update to the skill tab, hero tab and how we navigate our setup. I personally feel that one thing is behind the times, apart from the friends list/alliance list it's this god forsaken primitive quest log! Now i'm sure this has been mentioned n times already, but gosh, i feel like i should just express how i think the quest log should be.

Currently there are three campaigns, now open your quest logs and you might have a few quests from Kaineng, Kryta, Istani, Vabbi, Ascalon, Shiverpeaks, etc. the list can be quite large for some of us who don't like quests. The thing is, is that we have that small box at the top which we have to scroll quite a bit down, and then we can read our quest. When new campaigns come out this list could get quite long and tedious.

I understand that many people love quests etc. etc. and do them straight away, myself including, but i feel the way the whole tab is composed is a bit awkard and the usability of it can be greatly increased. So i've just spent 30 seconds doodling something on paint, i'm not quite photoshop savvy, or have a steady hand when drawing. But just use your imaginations and image the Guild Wars GUI instead of the bright yellow etc.

lololol. It's quite funny what you can do in 30s.

An update like this would benefit everyone. It could probably be easily implemented as well.

I used the search feature, i check the already suggested ideas etc. Anyway, discuss away. I posted this as i hate the current quest log. I would like to know how others find it.

On a side note, a quest title would be nice as well.

It's annoying to have to "close" down certain areas in the log to simplify it every time I change characters. And I like the idea of the Primary, Incomplete, Complete tabs a lot.

Excellent idea; I can think of no reason not to implement this, other than possible programming or budget limitations. Your artwork may not be that high-quality, but the idea is solid.

I've seen this suggestion numerous times before and variations on it but you know... I want it so badly. So here's a -

You have to admit though, this is the most detailed, inspiring occurrence of it yet (which is part of why it hasn't been merged into the other threads).

Very nice interface setup. Not sure completed quests should be so hard to find though (since you will have a few completed quests you haven't picked up the rewards for, but you'll have a lot more uncompleted ones). Maybe they should all be clumped together.

Definitely /signed. It's getting really tiresome to have to look through all of my kaineng quests to get to my nightfall quests.

or perhaps with the existing tab system make it so that when you close an area tab, keep it closed when you relog into that character. It's a pain when you're onto looking through quests and constantly having to close them over again since they're listed in order.

An excellent idea. I hate to scroll through the thousands of quest in Bukdey Byway and Wajjun bazaar, yes, i would love to see this feature in-game.
